Gamma's 7/16 DIN Weatherproof Boots are installed on the cable before termination and make for the fastest and easiest install and uninstall available. Simply slide the boot up and over the connection to install and back down the cable to re-access the connection. The boots are IP68 rated and are specifically designed to perfectly match 7/16 DIN connections on one end and various cable sizes on the other. Gamma's 7/16 DIN to 1/2 standard cable boot has the added benefit of working on JMA connections.
